Swift’s appearance at the rehearsal dinner on Aug. 18 caused a fair bit of chaos, with hundreds of fans waiting for her outside the venue. She was also photographed attending the wedding itself on Aug. 19.
Swift and Antonoff became friends sometime before the release of her 2014 album “1989.” They worked together on her 2013 non-album track “Sweeter Than Fiction” for the film “One Chance,” and they collaborated on three “1989” tracks: “Out of the Woods,” “I Wish You Would,” and “You Are in Love.” At the time, Antonoff was in a relationship with Lena Dunham, who Swift has also remained friends with (she was even a bridesmaid in Dunham’s 2021 wedding).
Swift and Antonoff’s collaboration has only grown through the years, and he’s co-written songs with her on every album since “1989.” He’s also produced some of the vault tracks on her re-recorded “Taylor’s Version” albums.
